Christmas Programs, Programs and more Programs!!

Ballet Performance on Monday:
Adeline takes ballet at her pre-school on Mondays in the 3 year old class. They have about 20 3 year olds and Monday was parents day. This was not the real deal, but they had been practicing a few things for Christmas and the real recital is in May and I cannot wait!! She was so excited we were there to see her do ballet!
Giving Ross a big hug before her performance!
They did ballet for a few minutes holding this flower!

She did so good and new her stuff!
They did one dance to Away in a Manger
Tap.....we noticed that she really likes tap! she seemed to love tap better than ballet!
THE END!! SO CUTE!!
Choir Performance at Church:
This Christmas program was Wednesday night at church. The 3, 4, and 5 year olds all sang. It was the cutest performance!! She came out and they line up on stage and then she spots us in the crowd because we are all waving like crazy so she will see us and she gets so excited!! She calls out our names and waves and waves. She has a great crowd for her with all my family and you can just see it in her face how excited she is!! They sang 4 songs and did the hand motions too! It was precious!! then the 4 and 5 year olds sang separately too!
On our way to the church!

She spotted us in the crowd!!

so sweet!

Christmas Program at her Pre-school:
Friday morning
The morning started out great! She was already up, which is nice because waking her up is no fun. It was raining really bad, but that was okay they had rain gear on and were so excited! We talked the whole way to school and practiced her songs. I take her to her room and she is even more excited. I go in auditorium early to save seats. My whole family is there she has another big crowd. The three year olds walk in and they are angels. So adorable!! she sees as she walks in and then spots us from stage. More excitement and big smiles! Then the other 4 year olds and 5 year olds get on the other side of the stage. The program begins and everyone is singing and she just freezes, in a daze!! We are waving and smiling at her....she has no expression on her face. More songs go by, she still has barely moved her mouth and moved her hands maybe 3 times, then she starts yawning, looking to the ceiling and stretching. At this point I was laughing so hard. She and the little boy beside her literally just sat there and yawned the entire program and it was lengthy. They sang about 10 songs and the older children had a few speaking parts. We finally turned the video camera off because well, we already had enough footage of her just sitting there and yawning or dazing around the room! I know she knows all the songs because she loves to sing and perform them at home. At one point all the 3 year olds stood up and she was the only one sitting down!! this is so unlike her! After the program she starts to cry and tells me she doesn't feel good and that she wanted to go home. Then about 20 minutes later she was happy again when we ate lunch with Ross!!
Walking in!

Spotting us from the stage!

Doing a few hand motions!

Yawning!

All the 3 year olds standing up except Adeline!

Smiling at the end!
Getting ready to leave
Little Buddy loved the rain and umbrellas!!

I cannot even begin to describe how much I love going to programs/performances/recitals!! I could go everyday to see my child so proud and excited of them self. It makes you so proud to be their parent!! I just love it! yes I am the mom who gets there really early to get the best seat possible so they can spot us in the audience! to see their little face light up when they see you is priceless!!
Merry Christmas!!
