Sunday we headed to Calera to meet up with the whole Vaughn family and ride the Polar Express Train ride. It was freezing outside, but luckily we didn't have to stand outside too long! They read the story Polar Express, sing Christmas songs, ride to the North Pole and Santa and Mrs. Clause come on board and the elves pass out cookies, milk and a toy. They kids had a blast and I definitely recommend going with your kids. You just have to get tickets early because they sell out so fast! Adeline is still talking about riding a "real" train! It was a very fun night and we are so thankful Janie and Pop took all of us!
