Easter Blessings

Adeline at her pre-school Easter Egg Hunt!

Yeah! I found 12 eggs!

Dying real eggs!

Our church Easter Egg Hunt was on Saturday morning. We have the best time every year! We hunted eggs, rode horses, rode a hay ride, played on the swing sets, trampoline and ate yummy goodies!!

Loved the tire swing!
Little Max only found 3 eggs, he was not interested in hunting eggs. He had too many other distractions, like the dog!
He just stood and looked around as the others went running for the eggs!
Daddy helping!
All done hunting eggs.
Max and Camilla were obsessed with the Stone`s dog. The poor dog was not left alone!

Adeline and Hadleigh

Walking back to the car, they were exhausted from all the fun!

Easter morning at Janie and Pops. The Easter bunny visited and brought some fun stuff!

Adeline was saying, "Max look at our stuff, we can share everything"
He was thinking, um no way are you touching my stuff!

Janie goes all out and give the kids these wonderful Easter baskets. We have done the princess puzzle about 20 times so far and she loves her new Madeline book and doll too! Little Max just loves his bubbles! Thank you Janie for the all the great gifts!

All dressed and ready for church. (bubbles in hand)

Little Max is getting better about sitting next to her for pictures. We are making big progress here!!

He scooted a little farther away, but still smiling!

I love these pictures of Max with them!

Look at how sweet and still he is being! and I didn`t even tell him to put his arms like that. I can`t tell you how excited I am that he is beginning to sit still for pictures!

Adeline loved her "pretty dress"

We had a wonderful Easter and I feel so blessed! We went to Sylacauga Saturday afternoon after the Easter Egg Hunt and spent the night and went to church with Max`s parents. We enjoyed a great sermon and then went home for pictures and a delicious meal that Janie and Vicki made!
I always look forward to Easter lunch! The food is so good! Jane is a wonderful cook! Then took naps and headed home. Adeline really understood what Easter was about this year. She has been so concerned about the crown of thorns and Jesus dying on the cross. She thinks thorns are in everything now, like the grass! Her pre-school did a great illustration of the stone being rolled away and Jesus not being there and that is is Risen and lives in our hearts. They used an Easter egg to represent the tomb and seeing all this visually really hit home to her. She has reminded me that "He is Risen" and that also the 3 wise men came to see too! She`s so funny and its a lot to take in, so you can`t help but laugh when she talks about the 3 wise men being there too!
Hope everyone had a great Easter too!
