This picture is priceless!

At the rehearsal

Mr. Eddie and Alley practicing

Adeline and John
Allen. They did so good and stood still the whole time! This is
Adeline's 4
th time to be a flower girl and she told me she was a little nervous this time. I think its because she is older and thought John Allen was cute! She will be in one again in October and #6 for
Emily's wedding!

Their was not a dry eye in the church! I will never forget this moment!

The married couple!

She had a blast at the reception

with Daddy
Arent they cute?? They had never met and just loved each other. Not sure they remember each others names, but the refer to each other as "ring bearer" and "that flower girl"

Look who
wouldn't smile??? Maybe he was mad about his outfit or the fact I
wouldn't let him wear his Auburn rain boots!!

They each ate about 10 of these cookies and Adeline put some in her basket to bring home!

Alley and Leighton were married a few weeks ago. Alley is
Emily's best friend and we have known Leighton for years from the beach. Emily
actually introduced them to each other. They adore Adeline and she them! She was thrilled to be a part of their big day!
Alleys dad had been battling cancer for many years. As the wedding got closer he took a bad turn and got very sick. The cancer had spread to his brain and their was really nothing else they could do. He was such a trooper and came to the rehearsal to practice. He was in a lot of pain and was very tired, but he had one thing on his mind and that was to walk his daughter down that isle! The day of the wedding he was very sick and we were all so worried, but he had made up his mind and was determined to be there for Alley. When the church doors opened and everyone saw Mr. Eddie walking Alley down the eye, it was the sweetest, most emotional moment at a wedding I have ever seen. It was a very long isle and Mr. Eddie made it smiling the whole way down. Alley was beaming and it was a beautiful moment.
Alley was married on Saturday and on Wednesday Mr. Eddie went to be with our Lord. He literally was fighting just to be there for Alley. We praise the Lord he is in heaven and is healed and not suffering anymore. Please pray for Alley, her sister Ashley and mom Cheryl as they will greatly miss their father and husband.
Such a sweet post Elizabeth.
